WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 — The House approved a bill this evening granting broad protections against discrimination in the workplace for gay men, lesbians and bisexuals, a measure that supporters praised as the most important civil rights legislation since the adoption of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990 but that opponents said would result in unnecessary lawsuits.

Finally! So now the House has finally realized that everyone deserves equal rights! What did it say in the Declaration of Indepndence again? “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal…”
And let’s take a look at the Constitution, at the 14th amendmant - “No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
