You’ve all seen them – they appear on the right hand side of the screen whenver you search anything. Usually, they’re related to something that you’re searching. Search for “computer” and the first few will be from TigerDirecct and Best Buy. Search for global warming and you get GreenCoast.org and the WWF. Search Rudy Guliani and you get…John McCain? Click here for the image.

Newsweek reported something about this here. Admittidely, I did have to misspell Giuliani’s – do you want another example? Seach Clinton and you get…Clinton, Clinton, and John McCain. Click here for the image.

Again? The first result for Obama is…Hillary. Click here for the image.

So is this good marketing, or sneaky politicing? Or both?

And yes, I did cut out some ads from the bottom of the list. For the complete list of ads, search the terms on Google and see what you find. However, they may have changed between when I post this and when you search.
